Here is a space where we can talk about books we're reading, areas we need some assistance with or any other thoughts and ideas pertaining to our Book Club :D
You can make changes to the wiki by clicking "edit" at the top right corner of this dialog box. Never used a wiki before? Go to www.youtube.com and search "Wikis in Plain English." It's REALLY helpful!
Four minutes too long??? Here's the shortest version- there are tabs at the top (Page, Discussion, History, Notify Me) that you can navigate as well as tabs on the side (Home, Resources & Other Stuff, What's Working...) that are pages with information as well. As a member, you can add to and modify this wiki at any time. All you have to do is click "Edit" at the top right corner of this box.
(posted by Amanda Peyton) So, I was at a workshop this weekend and the presenter shared a super cool website. It is www.zamzar.com. Here, you can convert files from YouTube or other "filtered" sites. Upload them into a powerpoint or wiki and you're good to go :D
You can also click the "Discussion" tab to start threads there.
Please make sure you write your name with anything you post. This wiki does not automatically do that for you.
A quick question for the group (posted by Amanda Peyton):
I told my group that they could pick a name for their book club. They couldn't think of anything. Does anybody have any suggestions for names or sample names that your group is using? I'm going to revisit this at the end of next week when we get to know each other a little better.
Mr. I would like to thank Ms. Peyton for the recent info on zamzar.com! It is quite interesting, educational and technologically progressive in order to obtain educational information and entertainment via various techniques that is FREE. Thanks again, Ms. Peyton.
